 Conference Overview

CPAC Professional Day is an annual conference on career and professional development for internationally trained professionals (ITPs). The event consists of empowering keynote presentations, educational breakout workshops and a Marketplace/Job fair where service providers and employers showcase their services/organizations to the participants.  It is one of the few large-scale events in the GTA that help ITPs establish themselves professionally and advances their careers.  Again for 2010, Job Fair is also a main feature of this event.

The first Professional Day was held in 2002 with the aim of helping CPAC members and immigrant professionals successfully integrate in Canada. Through the years, Professional Day has grown into a major annual event in Toronto, offering a wide range of skills training and career development workshops to hundreds of internationally trained professionals.

The Chinese Professionals Association of Canada (CPAC) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1992 with an aim of serving and representing immigrant professionals.  Currently CPAC has over 24,000 members across Canada.  Over the years, CPAC has developed many initiatives geared towards improving access to suitable employment for immigrants.
